"Outlandish" Zicky Dice is a current IMPACT Wrestling talent, he's currently part of the wrestling stable led by Brian Myers, the Learning Tree. Dice sat down with on-air personality Denise Salcedo to discuss his recent contract and how he came to make the decision to join the promotion.

Dice started his career working in the independent wrestling scene, which led to him becoming the NWA World Television Champion in the NWA. He also wrestled for Freelance Wrestling, Bar Wrestling and AAW. Most recently he appeared in the Battle Riot Match for Major League Wrestling and wrestled a dark match against Lance Archer on AEW Dark.

Dice mentions that following his AEW Dark Match, he had what he calls a "reality check."

"When I came back that was almost like a reality check, there's a great conversation that I had with Ricky Starks and he told me straight out 'don't put all your eggs in one basket, don't set yourself up to fail' and that's exactly what I did. So that was a rough few weeks, but I used that as motivation. "

On top of his appearance on AEW, he had also received a contract offer from Major League Wrestling:

"There were a few emails going back and forth with a few people at WWE for the time being. MLW had reached out and brought me in for their rumble, I went and did that, got a great reaction there. MLW had offered a contract and I just kept kinda sitting and waiting, and it was that next week that IMPACT came about. Scott D'Amore reached out and made me an offer, I sat for a while ,about a week and a half, I talked to everyone, went back and forth, talked to my family and friends and I finally came to a decision."

At the end of the day, it was signing with IMPACT which Dice felt suited his future better.

"I know what I am capable of, I know what I am destined for, and when IMPACT finally reach out and made the offer, I was like 'this is the right spot' because signing with IMPACT there is so much more that comes with that, let's be honest here.I could go to Mexico and work at Triple A if I wanted to, I go to Japan, work for New Japan, I could go get my NWA's World Television title back if I wanted to, or hell I could walk through that door at AEW and show up there. There's a lot of options on the table, and I am gonna be at IMPACT for a while so get comfortable. Right now wrestling is very, very hot and there are opportunities everywhere."

"I feel that everything going on with wrestling right now, I would love to help build more buzz at the company, help get the company rocking and rolling. It's a good spot for new talent to come and develop or talent that have been elsewhere, to come back and find who they are and grow from there. I gotta say I am very happy with my decision."

Dice notes that he is looking forward to getting more TV time, winning gold and traveling the world.
