The WWE Universe didn't love the first set of changes WWE creative made to the Karrion Kross character. It will be interesting to see if they love the next set of changes that are rumored to be coming and could be on display as early as this Monday night on Raw.

According to popular Twitter account @WrestleVotes, the idea is to make Kross more of a “psycho” while also flipping back and forth between enraged and totally collected. They tweeted that there are plans to change his theme music but keep the helmet. They didn't note if Scarlett would be joining him down the line, but she's not included in the plans just yet. Here's what they wrote:

"Source states WWE is shifting Karrion Kross’ character once again. Plan is for him to be more of a “psycho” yet still “calm & cool.” As of now the helmet stays, but for whatever reason, still no Scarlett. Presentation of entrance including theme music set to change as well."

Some fans will argue that the changes are too little, too late as WWE has already ruined his character. Others might argue that WWE needs to rework his gimmick because what WWE is presenting isn't working. The good news here is that WWE continues to try things that suggest they have a keen interest in making his character work and hitting on something that sticks.

Kross Working Two Gimmicks At Once?

Part of the issue seems to be that WWE isn't sure what they want Kross to be. He comes out in a helmet and straps and looks like a gladiator, but then cuts backstage promos in a suit. It seems the creative team is throwing ideas at a wall to see what sticks. It's not clear why WWE felt the need to change his character from what was working in NXT, but what fans are witnessing now is a huge deviation from that gimmick.
