Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman were both brutally attacked by Bray Wyatt during the main event of Monday Night Raw, but things took an interesting turn when the show went off the air.
Wyatt had attacked both superstars with the Mandible Claw, but the Universal Champion fought back after the broadcast. Rollins hit The Fiend with his Curb Stomp finisher, thus putting an end to Wyatt's savage attacks.
Before Rollins could attack again, the lights went out - and Wyatt was able to escape. You can see how things played out below, thanks to this fan in attendance:
We obviously can't see it from this view, but apparently a hilarious botch took place when the lights went out.
According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio (h/t Sportskeeda.com), fans at the Chase Center described the show's ending as "absolutely comical." Even when the arena went dark, there were enough lights on for fans to see Wyatt sprint away up the ramp.
Obviously, this wasn't how things were supposed to play out, as Meltzer outlined that fans weren't supposed to see Wyatt get away. It was obviously a botch from the production team, but at least it left some good laughs for the fans in attendance.

Good thing that this whole segment took place when Raw went off the air, otherwise the botch would have been seen by millions watching around the world. Now, WWE knows to be more careful with the lighting when it comes to planning Wyatt's exits going forward.
For some odd reason, there have been numerous botches by WWE in recent weeks. When Samoa Joe advanced to the quarterfinals of the King of the Ring tournament, the TV graphic said that he was headed to the semifinals instead. Last week, the television graphics on Raw were upside down - though this was apparently done on purpose.
WWE Has To Avoid Making The Same Mistake
It doesn't look good on Wyatt's character if WWE botches his intros and/or exits going forward. The whole point is for him to be stealth and mysterious; catching everybody by surprise when they least expect it. Let's hope that this botch was a one-time thing, because it could ruin the fun of his character when they make mistakes like this.
