Stassi Schroeder and Jax Taylor have fallen out after he and wife Brittany bailed on attending the Vanderpump Rules alum's recent wedding in Italy.
Stassi Schroeder explained her fallout with Jax Taylor as a result of the Vanderpump Rules alum's wedding in Italy. The two share a long history as former lovers turned enemies turned friends. After an extremely messy breakup due to Jax's cheating, Stassi was finally able to forgive him and accept him into her life as a friend. Once Jax introduced Brittany Cartwright to the group, Stassi quickly took a liking to her and developed a genuine friendship. But since being fired, Stassi has become more estranged from some of her former co-stars.
Stassi and Kristen Doute were fired from Vanderpump Rules in June 2020 after Faith Stowers revealed their racially insensitive actions towards her. The alleged attacks came after Faith hooked up with Jax while he was in a committed relationship with Brittany. Despite Stassi forgiving her longtime friend Kristen for sleeping with Jax while she dated him, Stassi had no interest in remaining friendly with Faith after Jax cheated on another one of his girlfriends. In the months after Stassi and Kristen's terminations, Jax and Brittany would announce their exit from Vanderpump Rules as well, leaving many fans to wonder the real reason why.
Now that neither of them is on Vanderpump Rules, Stassi and Jax have fallen out in wake of her recent wedding in Italy. She recently blasted Jax and Brittany for bailing on Stassi's and Beau Clark's wedding hours before the newlyweds left for Italy. “They are RSVP’d ‘yes, [And] whenever we were around them, they’re like, ‘We’re coming,'" Stassi said of Jax and Brittany on her and Beau's The Good, the Bad, and the Baby podcast. She also accused Jax of bad-mouthing her wedding and getting caught in group chats that Beau was actually a part of. “Good friends don’t do that. They don’t talk sh-t about your wedding behind your back," Stassi quipped. "Friends don’t do that to each other,” she added.
In a separate interview on The Skinny Confidential Him & Her podcast, Stassi revealed how "difficult" it was filming with Jax during the eight seasons they starred on Vanderpump Rules. “Jax, honestly. He was hard to work with," Stassi, who cut her wedding guest list, confessed. While she noted how fun and entertaining his "unhinged" behavior could be, she recalled how he seemingly tried to destroy group settings. "He would try to like cancel scenes and ruin them for other people,” Stassi recalled. "He made working difficult," she added. It's not the first time Jax has upset Stassi, but it's the first time she's been so vocal about him since her firing.
Fans have noticed that Jax and Stassi unfollowed each other on Instagram. Considering all that's been revealed, it makes sense why Stassi has chosen to put Jax on blast. However, fans aren't surprised Jax is proving that his onscreen persona was no act. The Vanderpump Rules alums continue to drift further apart in wake of the cast exits. Maybe their new role as parents will help bring the former friends back together one day.
