Something Else To Wrestle With Bruce Prichard is now available on the WWE Network and the titular host explained why some of the swearing was censored.
Something To Wrestle with Bruce Prichard has quickly become one of the most popular podcasts not just in pro wrestling or sport, but in all of the podcasting industry. Prichard and his co-host Conrad Thompson cover a different topic each week from pro wrestling's past and pick it apart in intricate detail as Prichard takes us behind the scenes of his time in the business working for WWE and other promotions.
Despite the premise of the show being Prichard and Thompson discussing things that happened behind the scenes in WWE, it caught the promotion's attention in a good way. In fact, this week, a new WWE Network show debuted called Something Else To Wrestle With Bruce Prichard. It's effectively the same as the podcast, but with video of Prichard and Thompson.

Going into the first episode of the show, it was really anyone's guess what it was going to be like. Many fans probably thought that it would need to be reigned in compared to the podcast but that really wasn't the case. Prichard and Thompson covered WrestleMania XIV, mainly focusing on the inclusion of Mike Tyson, and for the most part, it was the same sort of content as what the podcast version offers.
Even a lot of the "lesser" swearing was left in, but any time one of the co-hosts dropped an F-bomb WWE made sure to censor it. Prichard was asked about the censorship during a Q&A following the show's premiere and clarified that he understood children use the WWE Network, so they cleaned things up a bit despite WWE not asking them to change anything about the language of the show. He actually admitted that he and Thompson have been trying to swear less on the podcast version.
Overall, it seems like the first episode of Something Else To Wrestle With Bruce Prichard is being lauded as a huge success. Fans of the podcast will have been relieved to discover that Prichard and Thompson haven't sacrificed anything from the original and from here on in, it will apparently be a show that drops on the WWE Network every Wednesday. There is still the very real chance that the two of them say something that they shouldn't though.
