In season 2, episode 5 "Tern Haven", Logan Roy (Brian Cox), begins his plan to take over PGM, a left-wing competitor to his own Waystar Royco news behemoth. To court the old-money Pierces, the Roy family arrives at their estate and spends the night. It's there that Kendall meets Naomi. When Kendall begins his downward spiral, Naomi patiently stays with him, but even she can't extricate him from his family.
