When not reporting in war zones, the CNN reporter enjoys a loving home life. According to The Sun, Clarissa Ward married her husband, Philipp von Bernstorff, a successful businessman and German Count, back in 2016. Two years after walking down the aisle together, Ward gave birth to the couple's first child, Ezra Albrecht Nikolas Nour. In an Instagram post uploaded in June 2021, Ward expressed the importance of family after returning home from a work-related trip. "No better feeling in the world than being back with my boys after a big trip," she wrote in a caption.
And in fact, her social media feed seems to be a good mix of her personal and professional lives, with some shots of family and her various awards interspersed with her duties as an international correspondent, a job which takes her to places around the globe.
