Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder was one of the original cast members on the series, and it's time to talk about what she's been doing since she was fired in season 8. In light of the Scandoval fallout, there's a lot of interest in the show and its current and former cast members. When VPR debuted in 2013, Stassi was in the cast, along with her then-boyfriend Jax Taylor, Katie Maloney, Tom Schwartz, Kristen Doute, Tom Sandoval, and Scheana Shay. They were all waiting tables or tending bar at Lisa Vanderpump's West Hollywood restaurant, SUR. They wanted to make their dreams of working in the entertainment industry come true.
Stassi had been on reality TV before, once appearing on The Amazing Race, but Vanderpump Rules is what brought her notoriety. The sassy, smart Stassi was always quick with a comeback, and stood strong in her beliefs, even if it was to her detriment. Always confident, Stassi knew who she liked or didn't, which tended to cause drama in the Vanderpump Rules friend group. Stassi Schroeder Has Relaunched Her Podcast
After Stassi was fired from Vanderpump Rules for some racially insensitive behavior that she and Kristen had engaged in years prior, she decided to take some time away from her podcast, Straight Up With Stassi. Dealing with stress from the incident that caused her departure from Vanderpump Rules,along with a pregnancy she hadn't shared publicly yet, Stassi made a choice. She decided that the best thing to do for her health was taking a step back. After nearly two years away, Stassi decided to relaunch Straight Up With Stassi. She discusses pop culture and reality TV, and also speaks candidly about her life as a working mother.
Stassi And Beau Got Married And Became Parents
Stassi introduced her now-husband Beau to the series during Vanderpump Rules season 7, and the two were engaged during Vanderpump Rules season 8. While Stassi had been in several relationships throughout her time on the series, it was clear that Beau was different from the start. She was introduced to the casting agent by Kristen and Katie, and the two hit it off quickly. The pair were married in a private backyard ceremony in 2020, postponing their lavish Italian wedding until 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The couple welcomed a daughter, Hartford, in 2021 and Stassi is currently pregnant with the couple's second child, a son.
Will Stassi Return To Vanderpump Rules?
Stassi has spoken about her experiences on Vanderpump Rules,in her memoirs and on her podcast. While she has lifelong friendships and experiences linked with the series, it's unlikely she'll rejoin the show's cast any time soon. On Straight Up With Stassi, she often refers to her time on Vanderpump Rules as traumatizing, and finds that watching the show and talking about is unsettling. She's not really that interested in living in the past. She's still close with Katie and Lala Kent, as well as other members of the Vanderpump Rules cast, but it's likely that her time on reality TV is behind her.
