The Filthy Animals debuted in WCW during the company's heated Monday Night Wars against WWE. The group had a similar role with the company that D-Generation X had in WWE, and they received a comparable pop from the crowd after successfully pulling off a prank.

The group may not have reached the heights of other notable factions around during their time, but they are still remembered for having a few of the best competitors in wrestling history. Decades after they initially disbanded, it is interesting to see where each member landed up, and if fans' predictions for each member at the time were correct or not.

8 Konnan

Konnan was one of the original members of The Filthy Animals when they made their debut in 1999. He was also one of only two wrestlers who were with the group throughout their entire tenure with the company. His blossoming career halted after McMahon did not give him a shot to compete, in WWE following WCW's 2001 bankruptcy. Nevertheless, he found success later in his career as one of the first wrestlers to make a name for themselves in TNA.

While Konnan's time in the ring may have come to an end, he has found a way to maintain relevance in the industry following his career. He returned to TNA as a member of their creative team in 2019 and made an appearance on AEW in 2020. He also found success in the media industry, where he is the co-host of a podcast called Keepin' It 100.

7 Disco Inferno

Disco Inferno, a mid-card competitor for much of his tenure with WCW, played important roles with a few factions during his career. He debuted with The Filthy Animals in spring 2000 and only lasted a few months with the group before turning on Konnan at the 2000 Fall Brawl pay-per-view.

While Disco Inferno's in-ring skillset may have left an awful lot to be desired, there is no denying his ability to market himself. He had a weekly talk show later in his wrestling career and is currently a co-host alongside Konnan on the Keepin' It 100 podcast. He also appears weekly on Vince Russo's talk show, Lions, Tigers, Bears, and Dirt.

6 Billy Kidman

Not only was Billy Kidman an original member of the Filthy Animals, but he also introduced the group to the WCW audience when they made their debut in 1999. Kidman, who also found success with the New Blood faction, was the group's only member who remained a fan-favorite throughout their entire tenure, as he left when the other members turned heel for a brief period.

Kidman was hired as a producer with WWE in 2010 and has remained with the company ever since. He recently returned from a furlough due to Covid-19 cutbacks in September 2020.

5 Torrie Wilson

Torrie Wilson became a valet for The Filthy Animals after developing an on-screen relationship with Billy Kidman (whom she would later marry in real life as well). Wilson was one of the best managers in the wrestling industry, before carrying the WWE's women division on her back in the mid-2000s.

Wilson, who has made multiple appearances with WWE in recent years, was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019. She currently works as a fitness instructor and is the founder of a workout program called Fittensity, a plan that helps middle-aged women stay in shape.

4 Tygress

Tygress was one of the most noteworthy members of WCW's failed attempt at a dance team, The Nitro Girls. She joined The Filthy Animals, where she found a role as a valet and wrestler, after the dance team split in mid-2000. She was one of five of the original Nitro Girls who founded the pop group Diversity 5, following the folding of WCW in 2001.

She also obtained a bachelor's degree in accounting before her wrestling career began and currently works in the risk management field in Atlanta, Georgia.

3 Juventud Guerrera

Juventud Guerrera, who was only 21 years old when he made his debut in 1996, was one of the youngest wrestlers to compete in WCW. Guerrera only lasted six months with the group before getting canned by the company, following an unfortunate incident during an Australian tour.

Guerrera produced several hip-hop songs and music videos following his retirement and is also the co-host of a Spanish show called TvShow LA ARENA. He was also recently snubbed from WWE's Legends Night, which did not go over well with the Juicy one.

2 Rey Mysterio

Rey Mysterio, who was one of two wrestlers who were with The Filthy Animals from beginning to end, had a hand in nearly every title reign during their run, and was the most successful member of the faction. Mysterio also experienced the only heel run of his career, which was a role that he was not cut out for, while with the group.

Mysterio is the only member of the group who has remained active in professional wrestling to this day, and he is widely considered to be one of the greatest of all time. He currently wrestlers on the SmackDown brand and could soon be looking to pass the torch to his son Dominik, who also wrestles with the company.

1 Bonus: Eddie Guerrero

Eddie Guerrero, who became one of the most entertaining performers in wrestling history, was one of The Filthy Animal's original members. He lasted three months with the company before requesting his release from WCW and making the jump to WWE in early-2000.

Eddie tragically passed away in 2005 at the age of 38. While Guerrero may not be around today, he left an undeniable impact on every wrestler who had the pleasure of meeting him, and the sport of wrestling as a whole. His legacy lives on in those close to him and those who were influenced by his greatness, in and out of the ring.
