The 90-day non-compete clause of former WWE superstar Bray Wyatt expired on Oct. 29, but the former Universal Champion remains a free agent.
Wyatt was released from his WWE contract on July 31, just less than four months after making his final televised appearance with the company. His close friend, Jason Baker, recently revealed that the two are working together on a movie. It was recently reported that AEW had plans to bring Wyatt in, but he apparently wasn't ready to join.
Impact Wrestling has also been mentioned as a possible landing spot for Wyatt, but the company doesn't appear to be an option for him at this point.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com tweeted that he heard Wyatt potentially joining Impact Wrestling is "not happening."
AEW President and CEO Tony Khan previously expressed interest in speaking with Wyatt. That was before the latter's aforementioned 90-day non-compete clause with WWE expires. Khan revealed last month that he actually hasn't had discussions with Wyatt about possibly coming to AEW.

Wyatt's final match for WWE took place on day two of WrestleMania 37, which he lost to Randy Orton via pinfall. His last televised appearance with the company took place on Raw the following night. In a "Firefly Fun House" segment, Wyatt explained that he was seeking a fresh start.
AEW Is The Best Landing Spot For Bray Wyatt
For a variety of reasons, AEW is far and away the ideal destination for the former Universal Champion. Wyatt is ultra-talented as a wrestling performer and entertainer, and it's imperative that he gets some input in the development of his wrestling character.
WWE found so many ways to book Wyatt poorly, even though he had all the tools to be a perennial main event star. AEW has done an excellent job in using former WWE talents who were victims of bad booking, and they would surely find a way to get the most out of Wyatt.
