According to People, Lori Loughlin will finally be returning to the small screen after completing her jail sentence in connection with the 2019 college admissions scandal. The "Full House" alum, who starred as Abigail Stanton on Hallmark's "When Calls The Heart" for six seasons, will return to the franchise for Season 2 of the spinoff series, "When Hope Calls." Loughlin is set to guest star in the show's two-part season premiere, "When Hope Calls: A Country Christmas," which will premiere Dec. 18, 2021, on GAC Family.

Of course, Loughlin isn't the only member of her family stepping back into the public eye following the scandal. Loughlin's daughter, Olivia Jade Giannulli, is currently on Season 30 of "Dancing with the Stars."

Recently, "DWTS" host Tyra Banks spoke out about Giannulli competing for the mirror ball trophy. "I think she's super brave to come out," she told E! Online. "I think she's like, 'I'm tired of other people talking about me. It's time for me to tell my story, and I'm going to do it on national television.'"

Fans will likely be happy to see Loughlin's character return for the "When Calls The Heart" spinoff, and, perhaps, this could lead to more acting gigs for her in the future.
