Now that Mandy Rose is on Raw and Otis has commented on the move, what comes next for both characters, specifically for Otis?

Food for thought: What would happen if the lovable Otis wasn't so lovable? Perhaps we're about to find out. Now that Otis' beautiful peach has been moved to Raw, one has to wonder how Otis is going to react, especially if separation isn't helpful for their romantic relationship.

As they say, "long-distance relationships never work." And while one partner in a relationship being on Raw and the other on SmackDown doesn't necessarily equate to a long-distance relationship, in storyline terms, it's like two member of the WWE roster being on different continents. Rose will likely move on to challenge in the red brand's Women's Division after a defining match at SummerSlam, while Otis will stay on SmackDown and miss his girlfriend incredibly, likely having his heart broken when she ultimately ends things.

That WWE has split up the two means they don't have storyline plans for the couple. Otis is the Money in the Bank briefcase holder and back with his partner Tucker, but one has to wonder if he's ever been dumped? In fact, the way WWE wants fans to view his relationship with Mandy, it's almost like he's never had a girlfriend. If so, how crushed will he be when that relationship inevitably ends?

The answer? Extremely.

But, that could open the door to an interesting storyline idea. What if Otis was so crushed, he started acting out? What if his typically jovial and jolly personality wasn't so jolly? What you'd have is an incredibly sad, angry and dangerous big man with aggression to release and a roster of SmackDown stars who need to look out. You could have a terribly effective heel character with an ax to grind.

Otis Has Other Things To Work Through First

Right now, Otis is tied up with The Miz and John Morrison and Rose is involved indirectly. Eventually, Otis will focus on his briefcase and the way things have been going, potentially not successfully cash it in. Some will call that a mistake, but if WWE wants this all to lea to a heel Otis, his failure to win the title is almost a necessity.

What will be left is a distraught big man who once dumped will be on the verge of snapping. That could make Otis' character could go in a very interesting direction.
