Snoop Dogg's cousin, Brandy Norwood, has also made a name for herself through her music and acting work. She played the titular role of Moesha in the '90s sitcom "Moesha" and played the lead in "Cinderella" in 1997. Brandy has also released nine studio albums as of 2023 and collaborated with Snoop for his 2009 track "Special."

Ray J is another of Snoop Dogg's cousins and Brandy's brother. Though he's most infamously known for his sex tape with Kim Kardashian, Ray has also had a wild career because he's done everything from making hit music to having a two-season dating reality show called "For the Love of Ray J." When Snoop appeared on BET's "No Limit Chronicles" he recalled the story of a wild night when he escaped a rough situation with an inch of his life and ended up getting arrested for marijuana possession. When he walked into jail, he saw his cousin, Ray already sitting there, and the two stayed behind bars for four hours.

Nate Dogg is another Snoop Dogg cousin with a successful music career. He kickstarted his journey by forming the hip-hop trio 213 with Snoop and his friend Warren G. He made it big by featuring on tracks like Warren G's "Regulate," 50 Cent's "21 Questions" and Eminem's "Shake That." Nate collaborated with Snoop on the iconic track "Ain't No Fun (If the Homies Can't Have None)," and worked with several prominent figures in the industry. Sadly, Nate passed away at 41 in 2011 after suffering complications from strokes.
