While El Moussa's proposal was a surprise, it wasn't totally unexpected. Young and El Moussa — who was previously married to his Flip or Flop co-star, Christina Anstead — have been talking about tying the knot for some time. "I don't want to ruin any surprises but we definitely talk about it," Young told E! News in May. "I don't want to put pressure because he knows I'm 100% the one, but I think it'll happen. Hopefully sooner than later, but I just don't know when."
Young said that she didn't want to rush anything, and that she was happy just being with El Moussa. "We just have the best time together," she told ET in May. "He's my best friend in the whole world and I'm just really enjoying what we have right now. I don't feel like there's a rush. And honestly, I want him to feel a hundred percent ready. He went through a very public divorce. He went through a really rough time, and I want him to do it when he feels ready."
