Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson might be available for WrestleMania 39 as it’s been reported that his heavy filming schedule will be open for next year’s event.

Fans have been eager to see The Rock back in the ring for several years now, especially as he never really got a proper sendoff. And there have been many rumors pertaining to a match at a WrestleMania event.

Johnson became a larger-than-life star while at WWE and transitioned to Hollywood, where he has found even more success as arguably the top actor in the world. He is certainly the highest-paid.

The Rock Kevin Hart

The 50-year-old has been a very busy man, landing roles in multiple films a year while there’s an ongoing sitcom based on his life called Young Rock. He has also bought the XFL and plans to have it re-debut in 2023, with his own tequila brand now doing very well.

We Might Finally Get That Reigns Match

The Rock has made a number of appearances for WWE since stepping back from wrestling full time. He faced John Cena at WrestleMania 28 and 29 and returned for WrestleMania 32 to defeat Erick Rowan. Quite fittingly, he was the one who ushered SmackDown to FOX in 2019 but did not have a match, though he got a bit physical with Baron Corbin alongside Becky Lynch.

It’s hoped that he will be back for WrestleMania 39 as the event will be held in Hollywood and is the perfect setting for a final match.

The Rock Roman Reigns

According to Wrestling Observer Radio’s Bryan Alvarez, The Rock’s schedule is clear for the beginning of 2023. It’s worth noting that he could be very busy with XFL affairs as the football league is set to return on February 18.

If he does show up, it will likely be against his cousin, the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

Fingers crossed.
