Nowadays in wrestling, there are an awful lot of talents that look very similar, which is how the industry has gone in recent years with big gimmicks and unique looks often being a thing of the past. However, that isn't the case for absolutely everybody, as there are still wrestlers that want to stand out with their appearance alone.

That is certainly the case in AEW, with the company having some very unique wrestlers within the roster. While the character and in-ring ability is ultimately what makes or breaks a wrestler's career, having a unique look does help make a wrestler appear more interesting from the start.
10 The Butcher
The Butcher is certainly one of the most unique-looking wrestlers in AEW, with his huge size instantly getting people watching him. However, it is his dress sense that instantly makes him unique, often heading to the ring with an apron that makes him catch the eye.
His huge facial hair also makes him rather unique and it only adds to the manic mayhem that he brings as a character overall. Having a look that fits in nicely with his gimmick really works and it certainly helps to make The Butcher a noticeable member of the roster.
9 Luchasaurus
It isn't often that fans get to see someone portraying a dinosaur inside a wrestling ring, but with Luchasaurus that is exactly what happens. He is incredibly unique and from an aesthetic standpoint, the character really stands out amongst the rest of the roster.

While there are other masked talents, none of them look quite as cool as Luchasaurus, with his height and all the tattoos only adding to the situation. It's something that allows him to thrive, and the interesting appearance has worked for him really well.
8 Marko Stunt
Another member of Jurassic Express that has a unique look is Marko Stunt, which really comes from his height. While fans are always in awe of giant wrestlers such as Paul Wight, on the flip side of that is Marko Stunt, who is easily the smallest male wrestler in the company.
Standing at 5ft 2in, Stunt is always much smaller than all of his opponents, and that allows him to feel very unique within the roster. His matches are completely different because of that, with his look setting the tone from the start.
7 Kris Statlander
While AEW has a dinosaur on its roster, it also has an alien with Kris Statlander, who is another one of the most unique-looking wrestlers within the company. She relies heavily on facepaint to get her look over, and that is something that can be done in a creative manner.
Because of that, Statlander is able to look different and the detail that she puts into things really helps her overall. There aren't many who appear like her, which is one of the reasons she has gotten over so well.
6 Abadon
Abadon is another wrestler that does use facepaint, and nobody relies on that heavier than her. She covers her entire face with paint to give the appearance of blood and other scary details, with so many small touches helping to make her stand out.

From the contact lenses that are different to the blood in her mouth, Abadon certainly looks unique, touching into the darker elements of wrestling. The small cracks that go through her face and neck are also fantastic, with Abadon doing everything she can to look unique.
5 Malakai Black
Malakai Black is another wrestler who puts a lot of attention into every aspect of what he does from an aesthetic perspective and that is one of the reasons that people find him so interesting. He has small touches of facepaint and he also uses contact lenses in order to add more details to his character.
The mask that he uses for his entrance is also something that gets people talking from the start. It's something very different from the typical mask and it hooks audiences into his character before he even wrestles.
4 Excalibur
Excalibur may not be an in-ring talent in AEW, but he is a crucial part of the product as a commentator for the company. However, he is certainly very unique when it comes to his looks purely because of the fact he wears a mask.
When people think about wrestling commentators, they expect to see someone in a suit that is well presented and that is why Excalibur is so unique. Wearing a mask is what people typically expect from a luchador wrestler, not somebody who is talking at the broadcast table.
3 Brandon Cutler
It doesn't matter what version of Brandon Cutler has been showcased in AEW, he has always been able to look unique. From being a babyface that would wear huge dragon masks and give nods to video games, to being a heel with The Elite, he always manages to stand out.
Right now his work as a heel has led to some very different looks, with the tracksuits and mask being mixed with the spray cans that he carries really works perfectly, helping him to make an impact without being one of the top stars on the roster.
2 Darby Allin
Darby Allin has created a great look for himself that has been brilliant in terms of making him a star, with AEW clearly finding him easy to market. The facepaint is something that he changes on a regular basis, and that leaves fans guessing about what he will look like each time.

However, his tattoos are also very different from what other people have and that goes along perfectly with his facepaint and how his character acts generally, which is one of the reasons that Allin has thrived so much.
1 Luther
Out of all the AEW roster members, Luther is perhaps the most unique when it comes to his looks. He is someone who dives heavily into character and his physical appearance is a big part of that, from the shifting eyes to the way he walks.
Luther also uses his tongue a lot in order to really add to the creepy elements of his gimmick, which fans can certainly find unnerving. He is a wrestler that audiences always take notice of, with the facepaint also adding to that.
