Nowadays wrestling fans place a lot of focus on the talent that is coming to the main roster from NXT. However, OVW brought together plenty of wrestlers over the years for the main roster. When it comes to this version of the developmental system, the 2002 class is one of the most well-known of all time.

This class is something that fans are well aware of, mainly because it brought together some of the biggest names in WWE history. This particular group of talents created some genuine Hall Of Fame stars, some of which are still involved in the business, others that have gone on to other roles.
10 The Basham Brothers
The Basham Brothers are often forgotten when it comes to being part of this 2002 OVW class. However, they were involved in the group, and the two men went on to have solid careers with the company for a while. They had a run with the Tag Team Titles, and proved themselves to be entertaining.
Nowadays, they are out of the wrestling world. Instead, Doug Basham works in the medical sales industry, meanwhile, Danny is involved in physical education, with both men having left their spandex days behind them.
9 Matt Morgan
Matt Morgan never quite made the impact that he wanted to in WWE, despite being part of OVW's 2002 class. He did get a run on the main roster, but it wasn't one of the greatest. However, Morgan did make his mark on the wrestling world in TNA.

He had a great career with the company, holding the World Title and enjoying a main event run with the promotion. However, nowadays, he puts his focus into politics, and he is currently the Longwood City Commissioner.
8 Eugene
Eugene is a character that every wrestling fan is familiar with due to the long-lasting impact he had on the industry. While the gimmick itself did hold Nick Dinsmore back at times as a wrestler, he is a gifted performer who achieved a lot in the business.
He has since worked as a coach and a trainer in wrestling, but he is also a minister now, meaning he does officiate weddings. Eugene also revealed he is going on a retirement tour this year, which should see him step back into the ring.
7 Renee Dupree
Renee Dupree was often an underrated wrestler, with his talent always being clear to see. He was a good worker and because of that, he enjoyed some success within WWE. But he was eventually released, yet that didn't stop him from wrestling.
Dupree is currently in fantastic shape, and he continues to work in the ring to this day, either in Japan or across Canada and America for independent shows. Dupree also has his wrestling podcast, known as 'Cafe de Rene.'
6 Rico
Rico is someone that audiences remember well, with his charisma and agility always helping to make him an exciting part of the product. He was a great wrestler who didn't always get pushed as much as he deserved, which was a shame.
However, he still managed to make a mark for himself throughout his time with the business. However, since then, he has gone on to work as a policeman, which is what became his major job post-wrestling.
5 Batista
Batista had an amazing career within the professional wrestling business, so much so that he is set to be inducted into the Hall Of Fame at some point in the future. This was already supposed to have happened, but due to COVID-19, it was postponed.
He's a multi-time World Champion, and he had his final match at WrestleMania 35 against Triple H. However, now his focus is on the acting world, where he has had a lot of success, whether it is in the Marvel world, being a James Bond villain, or working on independent movies.
4 Shelton Benjamin
Shelton Benjamin is one of the most athletic professional wrestlers of all time. He has put together some great moments throughout his career, both in WWE and across the world. Benjamin was always pushed by WWE early on in his career, as Intercontinental Champion, and through his Gold Standard character.

Benjamin continues to wrestle to this day as part of the WWE roster. He has been a key part of the product lately due to his role within The Hurt Business. This has seen him hold the Raw Tag Team Titles with Cedric Alexander, with who he is currently working with.
3 Randy Orton
Randy Orton is often considered to be one of the smoothest professional wrestlers of all time. He is a fantastic wrestler who has put together an insane career. The Viper has had one of the greatest careers of all time, and there is no doubt he is a future Hall of Famer.
He remains part of the product regularly to this day. Orton is a full-time member of the Raw roster and is currently working in the tag team division. He is paired up with Riddle right now with the two men having fantastic charisma together.
2 Brock Lesnar
Brock Lesnar is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, and while the idea of him being in developmental might seem crazy, he was part of this class. He looked like a dominant athlete, even at this point in his life, and that hasn't changed since.

The Beast remains with the company, albeit on a part-time schedule. He is also still at the top of the industry, currently holding the WWE Championship, working as a babyface that will happily crack jokes and showcase his personality.
1 John Cena
John Cena is arguably the biggest name to have come from the 2002 OVW class, being someone that rose to the top of the wrestling industry. He became the face of WWE and will go down in history as one of the greatest of all time.
Cena is still involved with professional wrestling, making occasional appearances for the company, most recently wrestling Roman Reigns at SummerSlam. But his main job is now as an actor, with Cena currently pushing his Peacemaker television show.
