Tessa Blanchard posted a photo on social media over the weekend that some fans think hints at her next move in wrestling.

It could be argued that there has been no better time to be a free agent in wrestling right now. Even if AEW isn't interested in picking you up after being released by WWE, there are more places than there have been in years to make a living in the ring. Not to mention the pandemic winding down, allowing for smaller promotions to put on shows again and international travel slowly opening back up.

It might be argued that had there not been a pandemic, Tessa Blanchard would already be tied to a company. It has now been well over a year since Blanchard's controversial departure from Impact Wrestling. Since then, the former Impact Champion has been linked with WWE, AEW, and the NWA on multiple occasions. However, she currently remains unattached.

A recent post on Blanchard's Instagram may have tipped off that she has now signed a deal with her next landing spot. The post shows Blanchard holding some money, but eagle-eyed fans noticed those are no normal notes. They're sporting Ted DiBiase's face. Not only has The Million Dollar Man been working with Cameron Grimes and LA Knight in NXT recently, but the CWC was showered with notes exactly like the ones Blanchard is holding in the photo above.

Blanchard got married during the pandemic and whenever she has been asked about her wrestling future, she has revealed she is taking the time to enjoy the beginning of her marriage before making her next move. She may now be ready to make that move, and since NXT tends to have the reputation of housing the best women's division in the world right now, it makes sense that's where she would want to go.

As for AEW, which is where many fans still think Blanchard will land, there's no doubting its women's division could use someone like her. It has been gradually improving thanks to the likes of Britt Baker and Thunder Rosa, but there's still a long way to go. There have been comments made about how Blanchard treats and reacts with peers backstage, something that may continue to play into Tony Khan's decision to hire her or not.
