The popular phrase that gets bounded around by wrestlers who get released by WWE is "never say never," and that's with good reason. WWE often likes to bring back released stars, giving people a second chance which can often work out brilliantly. The likes of MVP, Bobby Lashley, and John Morrison are all thriving right now having returned, proving how it can work.

With so many amazing wrestlers being let go on a yearly basis, it makes sense that many of them end up circling back at some point to compete once again. Right now there are some fabulous former stars that would make a big difference to the product if they were to return.
10 Ted DiBiase Jr
Right now, Ted DiBiase Jr would be a sensational signing by WWE to add to the current product in NXT. Considering the Million Dollar Championship and his legendary father are all back, it is easy to see how the former Legacy member would slot in.
Adding someone with major main roster experience to NXT would draw attention from fans, while it would also benefit the storyline. He's somebody who had a great deal of talent and getting him back would be a great move.
9 Carlito
Carlito was brought back at the 2021 Royal Rumble, and fans were left very excited. However, while he appeared on one episode of Raw, that was the end for his big return, which was a missed opportunity.
Carlito was in amazing shape and the response to his return on social media proved fans wanted to see it. He has a great history with the company and that is why he's someone that WWE should still consider bringing back again.
8 DH Smith
During his initial run with WWE, DH Smith was a member of Hart Dynasty, working alongside Tyson Kidd to form an excellent tag team. While that wouldn't possible anymore, WWE should still look at bringing him back.

DH Smith has been seen several times lately for WWE at recent Hall Of Fame ceremonies, and he has gotten himself into incredible shape. He'd be an excellent addition to the NXT UK roster, but he could also play a big part on Raw or SmackDown too.
7 Sarah Logan
The Riott Squad was never quite able to make the impact that they should have done considering the talent the trio has. Ruby Riott and Sarah Logan have since been released, leaving just Liv Morgan on her own.
However, Logan has a lot more to offer. Having started a family, it would be nice to see her return to the company and this time work with her husband and become part of The Viking Raiders.
6 Braun Strowman
Releasing Braun Strowman was one of WWE's strangest decisions in recent times. A genuine main event star who can play a babyface or a heel is someone WWE should be desperate to keep hold of, not be happy to let go.

Strowman is a brilliant athlete who can move well for his size and has the ability to cut a promo, essentially being everything WWE looks for. Hopefully, this follows the path of Samoa Joe, and a mistake is noticed before it's too late.
5 Charlie Haas
With The Hurt Business no longer in operation, it would be a great decision for WWE to roll back the years with Shelton Benjamin by teaming him up with Charlie Haas once again.
Their team originally was a lot of fun and saw some of the best years for both men in WWE. Haas is someone who can still go, therefore bringing him back to add to the tag team division would be great to see.
4 Kaitlyn
Kaitlyn returned briefly to WWE for the second-ever Mae Young Classic and she was a real hit with fans. The audience responded well to her being back and she hadn't lost a step inside the ring.
She's somebody who can work as a genuine babyface that fans will love and having someone like that around is always helpful. Her experience would only aid the current roster and considering she can still put on a great match this could be a great fit.
3 Juice Robinson
Juice Robinson worked under the name of CJ Parker during his NXT career and he was never really given a fair run. He was always just there to put others over which was a shame because he has tons of charisma and talent.

Since his departure, Robinson has become a major star with New Japan Pro Wrestling and has quickly proven his worth. He would return to WWE as a totally different talent and if WWE gets the chance, he would be a brilliant signing.
2 Ronda Rousey
Whether you love or her or hate her, there's no denying that Ronda Rousey is a genuine star. But not only does she bring that presence to the ring, Ronda was also a fantastic wrestler who only improved as time went on.
Her run with the company was stellar and it left people genuinely wanting to see more. That's something that WWE should provide if possible because there's a lot of major storylines still on the table for the former UFC fighter.
1 RVD
After his recent Hall Of Fame induction, the timing has never been better to give RVD one final run before he retires. There are so many dream matches in WWE right now for the former WWE Champion that it would be an entertaining situation if he was to return.
RVD might not want a full-time role in the company, but there's no reason the company cannot work around his schedule in order to give fans some nostalgia with a wrestler who can still perform at a high standard.
