The Worst of Evil is a crime-action drama set in the 1990s that follows an investigation aimed at dismantling a prominent cartel located in Gangnam. The cartel is engaged in unlawful drug trafficking activities between Korea, Japan, and China.
The series centres around Park Joon Mo (Ji Chang-wook), a detective who bravely accepts the perilous task of going incognito to penetrate the Gangnam Alliance and gain the confidence of the criminal leader Jung Ki-chul (Wi Ha-joon).
It stars Ji Chang-wook, Wi Ha-joon and Im Se-mi in lead roles.
