Sonya Deville did incredibly well in answering a question about Seth Rollins breaking into Edge's house during her appearance on The Bump.

Go back through the years and you'll find any number of occasions when wrestlers have broken into their rivals' homes as part of an angle. The most famous example being when Stone Cold did it to Brian Pillman only to found The Loose Cannon holding a gun inside. Seth Rollins didn't have that same issue. The Architect made himself at home in Edge's house on SmackDown, but lucky for him, and Edge's family, no one was in.

An Awkward Question On The Bump

Social media show The Bump, which dissects everything to have happened in WWE during the week prior, naturally covered the segment. Sonya Deville was a guest on the show this week, and the host opted to ask her what she would do if someone were to break into her home.

As you can see in the clip below, that resulted in an awkward moment that was actually handled pretty well by Deville considering the subject matter. For those unaware, or who didn't make the connection as many others did as soon as Deville was asked the question, Deville actually was the victim of a home invasion in 2020.

Deville Handles It Well

“I think it goes without saying if someone comes into your home uninvited it's gonna be handled,” was Deville's reply. She then steers it away from her and focuses solely on the situation between Edge and Rollins, laying out what would happen if someone were to break into her home while she was out but her significant other was at home. When finished, it seems evident that the host realizes what he asked and is mortified he didn't realize it sooner.

Deville was at home with her friend and fellow WWE Superstar Mandy Rose when a man claiming to be a fan broke into her house last year. The invader had waited outside for an extended period, watching Deville and Rose through the window. Deville and Rose managed to escape and call the police. When officers arrived at the house, the man was still there as he believed the two wrestlers were still upstairs.
