Whether it was before CM Punk returned to WWE, since his return, or after his triceps injury, you can be sure of one thing. Seth Rollins will mock him at every possible opportunity. Even though the likely WrestleMania main event between them is now off, Rollins still grabbed the chance to twist the knife with both hands, quoting his good friend Jon Moxley in the process.

Fragile Mind, Fragile Body, Fragile Ego

Asked about Punk by Wrestle Radio Australia while Down Under for Elimination Chamber, Rollins made his thoughts about Punk known yet again, just in case you didn't know them already (H/T to Fightful for the transcription).

What’s the line? Fragile mind, fragile body, fragile ego. I think somebody that I know said something like that about him and it rings true. So look here’s the deal and I told him this in the ring, if you want to find your way to me and the World Heavyweight Championship you’re gonna have to work for it, the deal is he’s gonna have to work a little harder now.

Although Rollins didn't quote him exactly, the somebody that he knows is Moxley. Below, you can remind yourself of the moment from the promo Rollins is referring to. One Moxley cut while AEW Champion and feeding with Punk, accusing his opponent of having a fragile ego, fragile body, and a weak mind, so almost what Rollins said word for word.

Lots Of Plans Changed

Punk recently confirmed that he was supposed to be part of one of the main events of WrestleMania 40. The assumption is Punk would have won the men's Elimination Chamber last weekend and gone on to face Rollins at WrestleMania. Drew McIntyre now occupies that spot, and Punk's absence has affected more than just his own match. It seems unlikely Rollins would have been involved in Cody Rhodes' issues with The Rock and Roman Reigns if he had Punk to deal with on the road to WrestleMania.

Rollins is guilty of having a plan-changing injury too. Although he will be healed in time for WrestleMania, it was reported over the weekend that The Architect would have defended his title against Bronson Reed in Australia had he been good to go. Shortly after that report circulated, Reed revealed he had remained in the US despite WWE heading to his home country for the birth of his son.
