Nikki Bella not only revealed that she is engaged this week, but also told fans that she and Artem Chigvintsev have been engaged since last November.

When two WWE Superstars get together, it's hard for the pair to stay out of the wrestling limelight for obvious reasons. One of the main reasons a new couple will want to keep their relationship on the down-low is through fear of how Vince McMahon will react. Take Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins, for example. Shortly after the pair went public in 2019, their relationship was used to further an on-screen angle.

John Cena and Nikki Bella were not subjected to quite the same treatment as Lynch and Rollins, although their relationship was referenced on WWE TV. The only time it was openly used was when it culminated in a proposal on The Grandest Stage of Them All. Despite Cena openly admitting he didn't want to get married a second time, the 16-time World Champion proposed to Bella in the middle of the ring at WrestleMania 33.

Unfortunately, Cena didn't end up getting married for a second time. He and Bella broke off their engagement and canceled the wedding. Fast forward to 2020, and Bella is now engaged to a new man, Artem Chigvintsev. The pair of them met on the set of Dancing with the Stars where Chigvintsev was Bella's dancing partner.

The two of them went public with their relationship in 2019 and on January 3, 2020, revealed to the world on their respective Instagram accounts that they're engaged. In fact, they admitted that they've been engaged since November but wanted to keep it a secret as long as possible. Chigvintsev proposed to Bella in France, possibly on the same trip to Paris that the former Divas' Champion met the Russian dancer's parents.

Clearly, love is in the air in the wide wide world of wrestling. Bella and Chigvintsev's is the second engagement announcement already in 2020. Charlotte Flair and Andrade have also taken their relationship to the next level as the new United States Champion popped the question to The Queen on New Year's Eve. Plenty of wrestling weddings to look forward to, here's hoping they go better than Lana and Bobby Lashley's.
