Formerly of NWA, Nick Aldis, who made a return to IMPACT Wrestling in April, has reportedly wrapped up his recent run with the promotion. Following his match against Eric Young at the recent TV tapings, which was believed to be his final scheduled appearance, Aldis has concluded his current stint with the promotion. He was apparently working under the terms of a short-term deal. During Slammiversary weekend, he competed against Impact World Champion Alex Shelley in the main event but fell short.
According to Pwinsider Elite, both Aldis and Zicky Dice have departed from Impact Wrestling. The two wrestlers finished up at the Sunday TV tapings held in Windsor. They wrote, "Nick Aldis’ current run in the company seemingly came to an end with a loss to the Impact World Champion Alex Shelley. Aldis was under a “short-term” deal with IMPACT Wrestling." At the time of writing, neither Aldis nor Dice have made any official statements regarding their departures. In other words, there is no clear indication either is heading to WWE or AEW.
Aldis had initially departed from IMPACT Wrestling in 2017, subsequently becoming a prominent figure in the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) until his departure from the organization in January of this year. He rejoined IMPACT at Rebellion in April, primarily focused on chasing the Impact World Title.

Will He Be A Free Agent The Big Companies Chase?
As a free agent once again, the question arises as to where Nick Aldis will sign next. It will be intriguing to see if he is open to making a run with the WWE, assuming they are interested. Fans and industry insiders eagerly await his next move, with a potential run under Triple H and Vince McMahon now appearing more likely.
The coming weeks and months will undoubtedly shed light on his next destination in professional wrestling. A run in NXT might actually be one of the better options for him as he would easily be a top star in the company upon his arrival.
