Maxwell Jacob Friedman is easily one of the most divisive characters in professional wrestling today, maybe ever. It is a guarantee, however, when he does show up on AEW television, he is one of the most well-dressed. From the signature lion heads on his trunks to the very fashionable Burberry scarf that is now a piece of his titantron video. MJF always shows up and shows out when it comes to ring attire.

One thing fans would notice besides that scarf is the eclectic variety of robes and jackets that Maxwell possesses. Every AEW pay-per-view, MJF knows how to make a statement from his entrance alone combined with whatever antics are happening behind the scenes. Let's take a quick look at ten of the best entrance attires MJF has shown off to date.
10 New York Islanders Jersey
MJF made his entrance on the May 11th, 2022 episode of Dynamite for his contract signing with Wardlow for a match at Double Or Nothing. He would come out to a warm welcome from the Long Island crowd.
His entrance attire sported a custom New York Islanders NHL jersey custom-made with the number 55 and "MJF" on the back. The entrance was grand beyond the jersey and crowd affair due to a custom-made "Darkside of the Ring" style vignette MJF paid Chris Jericho to make about Wardlow being selfish.
9 AEW Dynamite - October 5th 2022
On the third anniversary of AEW Dynamite, MJF came out for a match against Blackpool Combat Club member, Wheeler Yuta. Excalibur claimed on commentary that it was 129 days since MJF last appeared on Dynamite.

MJF would make his way to the ring in a custom black satin bomber jacket fitted with his signature Burberry scarf underneath and Burberry cuffs on the sleeves. The jacket also was adorned with gold MJF lettering on the front and gold text on the back.
8 Plainview-JFK High School Letterman
MJF would be in his hometown of Plainview, New York for the December 8th, 2021 episode of Dynamite. His entrance would start with him driving a white Ferrari around the driveway of his old high school Plainview-JFK high. A narrator would proceed to name off things from New York and call the fans "poor" and "mid".
Maxwell would show up on stage wearing his Burberry scarf like always. Underneath showing off a Plainview-JFK letterman jacket with the name Max Friedman engraved on the chest.
7 All Out 2022
MJF made his return to AEW after a worked shoot promo he did against AEW founder Tony Khan. MJF came at during the Casino Ladder match at All Out as the joker entrant and won the match to get a world title opportunity later on.

He came out in a black turtleneck sweater and black jacket, fitted with a hood and white mask with black lines coming down and black horns at the top. He later came out after the main event between CM Punk and Jon Moxley, without his mask, starring down new champion CM Punk.
6 Referee
Friedman opened the May 25th 2022 Dynamite as the special guest referee for a steel cage match between Wardlow and Shawn Spears. The match was set as MJF was due to face Wardlow at Double Or Nothing that year, if Wardlow could beat Spears that night.
Max wore a Shawn Michaels-esque sleeveless referee shirt and biker shorts. MJF's ref shirt would be custom embroidered with Burberry lines instead of the signature black and white stripes.
5 All Out 2021
At All Out 2021, MJF would try to retire former friend and rival Chris Jericho. His entrance started up with a parody of the countdown Jericho had when debuting in WWE back in 1999 against The Rock.

Once the countdown ended, MJF's music hit, and he came out wearing a regal-like red robe with white and gold trimming, making him like royalty. His in-ring attire was a popping red and white, matching his entrance jacket.
4 Double Or Nothing 2020
Jungle Boy would be the next person MJF would have his sights on, as Double Or Nothing 2020 saw the two face off in a one-on-one match. Friedman would come out alongside his bodyguard and manager, Wardlow, wearing a sleeveless, long black jacket.
The jacket would be one of MJF's most simple, with just some gold trim and gold lion heads on the front. He did have his signature Burberry though, in the form of his wristbands.
3 Full Gear 2020
2020 was a good year for MJF's entrance attires. Full Gear that year saw MJF face his friend Chris Jericho for the chance to join Jericho's faction, The Inner Circle.

MJF would eventually win that match and join The Inner Circle for a few months before being fired. His entrance gear at the show would be a colorful purple sparkly robe with a red lion head and the famous Burberry trims in the middle.
2 Full Gear 2022
Full Gear 2022 would be the night MJF cashed in his Casino Poker Chip and beat Jon Moxley to become the AEW World Champion. The show would see the crowd get behind MJF and cheer him on in victory.
He came out for the match wearing a long black robe with all his signatures on it. The lion heads were placed on the sleeves, while multiple pieces of Burberry material were on the collar, middle, and cuffs.
1 Double Or Nothing 2022
Double Or Nothing 2022 was the finale of a long feud between Wardlow and MJF, culminating with Wardlow getting his release from a contract binding him to be MJF's bodyguard and manager. While the match lasted only 7:30, MJF would make a statement with his entrance attire yet again.
MJF came out in arguably his best robe to date. The robe was a lavish baby blue with feathers along the sleeves and sides, as well as the Burberry fabric on the collar, middle, and sleeves like always.
