Maks Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd Celebrate Son Rio's First Holidays With Sweet Family Pics

Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd are ringing in their first holidays as a family of four by sharing a set of dreamy photos. 

On Thursday, Murgatroyd, 37, posted pictures of herself, her husband, 43, and their two sons, Shai, 6, and Rio, 6 months, smiling at the camera in an outdoor photo shoot for the holiday season.

"Happy Holidays from our family to yours ❤️" the Dancing With the Stars pro wrote in a post on Instagram. "Seeing us as a family of 4 makes me well up every time🥹 someone pinch me…"

The first photo in the carousel of pics shows the group cheesing at the camera as Peta holds the newest addition to the family. 

Another photo shows big brother Shai holding his younger sibling as they smile while sitting on a tree stump, wearing matching muted colors. 

In the comments, the pros' fellow DWTS dancers flooded the replies with adoring messages of love and support for the family. 

"AHHH STOP!! Love this little fam" wrote Witney Carson. 

"So beautiful!!!" replied Lindsay Arnold. 

"Love this and you💜," responded season 32 pro and finalist Daniella Karagach. 

Chmerkovskiy and Murgatroyd welcomed baby No. 2 in June and the excited dad shared the happy news with a fitting Father's Day post holding his newborn son.

"Happy Father’s Day to me! #MadeInPeta," the dancer wrote at the time. 

The couple had previously welcomed Shai in January 2017 and married in July 2017. The pair began as close friends over a decade ago while performing together in New York, and they remained friends for years before things turned romantic while behind the scenes at DWTS.
