The annual WWE draft to reshape the Raw and SmackDown rosters begins Friday, April 28, on SmackDown, before concluding on Raw the next Monday. It's usually an exciting time, with new feuds created, NXT call-ups, and a few surprise returns from stars who have been on the shelf due to injury. This year could be no different, with one BIG name rumored to be making his return to WWE for the first time in over a year.According to WRKD Wrestling, who has broken many wrestling stories, a popular New Day member is being discussed for the draft. "One name rumored to return during the upcoming draft is former WWE champion, Big E. Big E has been sidelined with a major neck injury since March ‘22."

What Would A Return To WWE Look Like For Big E?
Big E has been out of action since March 11, 2022, when during a match between The New Day and Sheamus and Ridge Holland, the former WWE Champion took an overhead belly-to-belly suplex from Holland on the outside of the ring. It went wrong, with Big E landing on the top of the head and breaking his neck. He hasn't been seen in WWE since.
Big E recently had a one-year scan of his neck but didn't reveal what it meant for his future, though he said he's thankfully fully recovered and feeling good. The rumors of Big E coming back at the draft aren't the only ones about him lately. WRKD Wrestling also reported that there was talk of Big E returning to The New Day to feud with Imperium, with Big E even getting a huge match against the current Intercontinental Champion, Gunther.
