Chyna and Lita will go down as two of the best women's wrestlers ever, but despite being in WWE at the same time, they only ever had one singles match together.

When discussing the best female wrestlers of all time, chances are a lot of the people competing right now will make the cut. Some of them already do, such as Charlotte Flair. Many label The Queen as the greatest women's wrestler ever, despite her career still being relatively young at this point. That being said, there are plenty of women from the past who paved the way.

Two who will make almost everyone's top ten of the greatest ever are Lita and Chyna. They might well be numbers one and two for a lot of fans. Not only were they in WWE together at the same time, but they might have been the two top female stars in the company at one point. So why is it that the pair of them only ever faced off in singles competition one time?

That one match took place at Judgement Day 2001. On that occasion, Chyna defeated Lita for the Women's Championship. Lita revealed on After The Bell this week that both her and Chyna held back a little in that match as they had been led to believe that it would be the first of three.

"We wanted to give people just enough to go, ‘Oh, there’s something here. We want to see more,’ and we held back thinking we were gonna have two more matches," Lita explained. For those who don't know, that would be Chyna's last ever match in WWE, which is why the other two bouts between the pair of them didn't get to happen.

Lita also revealed that she wishes she had wrestled that match with Chyna as if it were her last match ever. Apparently, the Hall of Famer was once told to wrestle every match that way. If she had followed that advice before, and not assumed she would get to wrestle Chyna at least two more times, The Ninth Wonder of the World's final match in WWE might be one we still look back on today as an instant classic.
