Ambrosya Amlong is the Senior Administrator to the Department of Emergency Medicine. She possesses over twenty-five years of progressive experience in healthcare. This includes management and oversight of finance, operations, human resources and capital projects, cultivation of client/staff/donor relationships and improving customer service standards.

Prior to joining the Department of Emergency Medicine, Ambrosya was the Division Administrator, Education and Clinical Ultrasound in the Department of Emergency Medicine at University of Michigan. She began her career in healthcare leadership at the University of Iowa where she held leadership roles in the Department of Pediatrics and Department of Family Medicine.

Ambrosya received her Bachelor’s degree at University of Iowa and is an active member of the Association of Administrators in Academic Emergency Medicine, serving on the Strategic Planning Committee and Vice-Chair of the Communications Committee.  She has a passion for mentorship and leadership development, which is evident with her completion of Certification for Administration in Academic Emergency Medicine.
