Professional Background

Dr. Klenke-Borgmann received a PhD from Villanova University in 2020. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing where she currently teaches in simulation and in the classroom, including Alterations in Physiological Functioning I and II. She holds a position in The University of Kansas Health System as a Nurse Scientiest.

She is published in several peer-reviewed journals, including Clinical Simulation in Nursing in the February 2021 issue. She is passionate about advancing experiential learning strategies for nurses and nursing students that develop clinical judgment and prepare them for clinical practice through research on simulation and clinical judgment.
