One of the biggest mysteries in recent WWE history has been solved by a 10-year-old journalist – who threw the pie at Kevin Owens during the 4th of July Raw.
As you may recall, a massive food fight broke out during the 2016 episode of the show that Owens managed to avoid. When the fight was over and Owens was alone in the room, the WWE Superstar was hit with a pie by someone who was never revealed causing KO to freak out.
During an interview this week with the AJ Awesome Show, Kevin was asked by the young host who threw the pie and surprisingly the wrestler finally gave an answer.
"The only answer I can give people is that in the end, even if it wasn't him who physically did it, the one who ultimately threw the pie at me is Vince McMahon," Owens explained. "Because he's the one who decided that pie was going to hit me in the face. And he wasn't there physically to do it, but he's the one who made it happen. That would be the answer."
Maybe that's the real reason Kevin headbutted Vince years later.
