Jimmy Uso has been arrested for a DUI for the second time in two years. The SmackDown Superstar's BAC was more than twice the legal limit.

A report courtesy of TMZ has revealed Jimmy Uso was arrested for a DUI late on Monday night. The WWE Superstar was stopped by police in Florida when he ran a red light while also breaking the speed limit. According to the officers who arrested Uso, he smelled of alcohol and admitted to having drunk multiple beers before getting behind the wheel of his car.

Uso Arrested

Police tested Uso's blood alcohol level twice, returning results of .202 and .205. That's more than double the legal limit of .08 in the state of Florida. After failing a number of sobriety tests Uso was arrested and at the time of TMZ's report, he remained in jail. As well as a DUI, Uso has also been charged with speeding and running a red light.

This isn't the first time Uso has been pulled up and charged with a DUI. In 2019, the former Tag Team Champion was arrested under very similar circumstances. However, after standing trial for the misdemeanor, Uso was found not guilty by a jury. Earlier that same year, Uso was arrested for allegedly getting into a drunken dispute with police officers.

How Will WWE Handle It?

As for what's next for Uso, that all depends on where the charges lead. Precedent suggests this will not be something that is addressed behind the scenes in WWE. That wasn't the case with his previous arrest or if it was, nothing was revealed publicly. Jeff Hardy also wasn't punished by the company when he found himself in a similar situation, although in typical WWE fashion his real-life issue was turned into an on-screen angle.

There's a very real chance we see that manifest again with Uso. Jimmy recently returned to TV after a lengthy hiatus due to injury. He is heavily involved with the Roman Reigns thread on SmackDown right now which might mean WWE is reluctant to have him miss much time. However, with Reigns' Tribal Chief mantra being all about providing for his and the Usos' family, there's a card to be played when it comes to his cousin's real-life issue. Albeit one that should probably be left alone.
