In Mimi Tomo, Hilichurls make their requests in Hilichurlian, so players will have translate. Here’s what ‘Gusha Celi Boya’ is, and how to get it.

Genshin Impact How To Get Jueyun Chili

Genshin Impact’s “Mimi Tomo” event expands upon the story of Ella Musk, resident Hilichurlian researcher. Players will have to work side by side with Ella Musk to communicate with Hilichurls and give them their requested item before defeating the Unusual Hilichurl the event is centered around.

Hilichurls make their item requests in Hilichurlian, meaning players will have to consult the “Handy Handbook of Hilichurlian” to translate Hilichurl statements in order to proceed with the event. Here’s what ‘Gusha Celi Boya’ is, and how to get it to complete the quest.

What is Gushi Celi Boya

At the beginning of the event, Ella will hand the player the "Handy Handbook of Hilichurlian," which contains a large variety of Hilichurlian words and phrases. While Ella will help the player with the first translation, the subsequent ones will require players to interpret the handbook and figure out what Hilichurls are saying on their own.

The third Hilichurl in this event will ask players to bring them ‘Gusha Celi Boya’. According to the handbook, ‘Gusha’ means vegetables, grasses, and fruits. ‘Boya’ is a color indicator, and ‘Celi boya’ specifically means red. By putting these translations together, players can determine that the Hilichurl wants a piece of red produce. Giving the Hilichurl either a tomato or Jueyun Chili will satisfy it, and allow players to move on with the quest.

Tomatoes are a common cooking ingredient and can be either found or bought. In the wild, destroying barrels and crates, or investigating interactable objects in small towns. Besides that, tomatoes can be bought at the Mondstadt General Goods Shop for 120 Mora, or at the Second Life store in Liyue Harbor for 120 Mora. Players can buy a maximum of 100 tomatoes a day from each store.

Jueyun Chilis are a common cooking ingredient as well as a character ascension material for Xiangling. They can be found growing in Liyue throughout the Bishui Plain and Minlin area, as well as Qingce Village, and each plant found provides around three Jueyun Chili. They can also be bought at Wanmin Restaurant for 1000 Mora. Players can buy a maximum of 5 a day.

Depending on which item players have more of, players can choose which fruit they’d like to give to the Hilichurl. Afterward, it will inform the player where the Unusual Hilichurl that needs to be defeated is. Defeating the Unusual Hilichurl will gift primogems and furniture blueprints, so players will want to brush up on their Hilichurlian to complete the Mimi Tomo event before the event ends!
