Grayson Waller hasn't been on WWE's main roster for long, but he's already managed to brush shoulders with some very big names. The Aussie main evented SmackDown against Edge last week. A loss, but still a huge moment for him, especially when you throw in that the match was in Madison Square Garden. Waller celebrated that milestone by trying to provoke The Rock, and he got the reaction he was clearly after.

Taking Shots At The Rock

Waller took a shot at the ring gear The Rock wore more than two decades ago during his own MSG debut. Rock took the bait and bit back, reeling off a list of insults you'd fully expect to hear from The People's Champ, but were still amusing nonetheless. Waller then hit back, all of this unfolding on Twitter, but as of now, The Rock hasn't kept the back-and-forth going.

Unable to get The Rock to respond again on social media, Waller took their virtual war of words to SmackDown this week. Bragging about what he has already managed to accomplish on SmackDown to Cathy Kelley, and claiming he'd have beaten Edge had he been given more time to prepare, Waller pointed out that everyone is talking about what he did last week, even The Rock.

Pay Attention To The Bloodline

"Everyone's talking about Grayson Waller, including The Rock. The great one himself," Waller said. "Every single week his family is imploding right in front of him every week on SmackDown, but he's worried about me. And I know he's desperate for the Grayson Waller rub, and if he wants more of my clout, he knows where to find me."

It is interesting that with The Bloodline crumbling, and some fans still hopeful The Rock will eventually return to dethrone Roman Reigns as The Head of the Table, he has taken time out of his very busy schedule to take a shot at a wrestler entirely unrelated to that angle. That's while Reigns and Jey Uso are tearing each other apart as Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa watch on. So much so that after this week's SmackDown, Jey vs. Reigns for the Undisputed Title at SummerSlam now seems to be a sure thing.
