Former WWE Superstar Gangrel made his AEW debut on this week's special live edition of AEW Rampage.
It all went down in Las Vegas on May 27 -- just a few days before AEW's huge Double Or Nothing pay-per-view, on which The Young Bucks (Nick Jackson & Matt Jackson) will take on The Hardys (Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy) in tag team action.
The segment began when The Hardys' entrance music rang out around the arena. The fans went wild ... but they were soon disappointed. The Young Bucks appeared on the ramp dressed like Matt and Jeff circa the Attitude Era, much to the chagrin of the crowd. Nick and Matt (Jackson, not Hardy) mocked Jeff and Matt (Hardy) by mimicking their moves and mannerisms as they fooled around at the top of the ramp. But they had a few other trolls up their sleeve.

The Bucks then dropped a sheet to reveal Gangrel, who escorted the Bucks to the ring (as you might recall, Gangrel served as the Hardys' valet for a time as the leader of The New Brood). After Gangrel was revealed, The Elite Stooge Brandon Cutler emerged from the back dressed as Lita, another legendary former Hardy Boyz associate.
The Young Bucks then defeat the team of Jon Cruz and former NXT star Taylor Rust in tag team action. They used multiple classic Hardy Boyz moves throughout the match and picked up the win with Twist of Fate-Swanton Bomb combo. They celebrated in the ring with Gangrel, but quickly turned on him, delivering a beatdown to the veteran vampire ... until the real Hardys made the save
The Hardys reunited with their former friend and mentor. The Bucks fled, while The New Brood beat up Brandon Cutler, who took a REAL Twist of Fate-Swanton Bomb combo.
Gangrel was reportedly yanked from an AEW appearance last August because of the SummerSlam Brood entrance.
