It appears WWE is going all-in on the LWO and their connection to Eddie Guerrero. During Monday's Raw, the trio had a match with The Bloodline, but during their entrance, a new theme song was introduced with a reference to the late, great, now deceased Hall of Famer.

WWE shared the new entrance on their YouTube page and wrote, " The LWO honor Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero with their new entrance music." The description goes on to highlight the "Viva la Raza" that used to be a staple of Eddie's old theme song. Comments on the video suggested that most loved the tribute and many fans suggested the group should try to add more members over time. While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted the LWO is selling a ton of merchandise, so it makes sense that WWE would push forward with the group and associate it more to one of the most entertaining and popular WWE Superstars of all time.

Earlier this week, Chavo Guerrero commented that Rey and the rest of the LWO should stop using Eddie's gimmick and his name to get over and profit. He suggested WWE and the members of the group were "prostituting" the Guerrero name. He later tweeted they should donate profits, but also tweeted that his comments were made in character as a heel and many think Chavo is positioning himself to be considered as a future part of this storyline. If so, that Chavo wants to be a part of it speaks about how over the group is getting.

Huge WWE Latino Audience

WWE understands there is a huge Latino contingent in their fan base and it would make sense to create and promote a group that appeals to that audience. The merchandise sales alone already speak to how smart a business decision it was. The fact that Eddie is connected to the group and fans want to honor him only increases the odds that the group will get over.
