The Ultimate Warrior suffered very few losses over his career. His legacy is so massive this fact sometimes gets lost compared to his bigger moments, but Warrior was pushed as an unbeatable force practically his entire career. He is sometimes criticized for his small skill-set in the ring, but in the late 80s/early 90s there were few wrestling stars as well known as The Ultimate Warrior. His skill-set did not affect his winning record either as most estimates assume Warrior won close to 90 percent of all his matches in the WWE.

The list of wrestlers who can say they beat the Ultimate Warrior is extremely short, and when we just focus on his WWE career the list can almost be counted on one hand. Legends like The Undertaker, Ric Flair, and even Hulk Hogan never scored a single victory over Warrior when he competed against them in the WWE. This list examines the few superstars who were able to score a rare victory over the WWE icon from "parts unknown."

8 Andre The Giant

Andre The Giant

Although record-keeping from this era can get spotty, one of the few documented clean losses The Ultimate Warrior endured was to Andre the Giant. The loss is surrounded by rumors with everything from absolute domination of Warrior to Andre sitting on him for a three-count since this occurred later in Andre's career when he could barely move, let alone wrestle.

Current Vice President in AEW, Chris Harrington, was one of the most prominent people to reveal that Warrior lost thanks to a kick from Andre. A year after the infamous Hulk Hogan slam on Andre at Wrestlemania 3 in 1987, Andre snagged the victory over Warrior after Warrior sprinted to Andre in the corner, falling after taking the size 26 wrestling boot to the head.

7 Dino Bravo

It has become a common joke for WWE fans that when a hometown hero competes for their home crowd, they almost always lose or have some kind of interrupted finish. Back in 1988, the wrestling world was completely different and Montreal hometown hero, Dino Bravo, scored an extremely rare pinfall win over Warrior. It wasn't a clean win as Bravo used the ropes to pin Warrior, but it was a huge upset win.

Dino Bravo has recently been thrown back into the spotlight thanks to his episode of "Dark Side of the Ring." Bravo would go on to hold a few major titles at the WWE and, in respect, this is one of the biggest upset losses in the history of the WWE. This house show win is the only recorded win Bravo scored over Warrior in his entire career.

6 Randy Savage

Ultimate Warrior Vs Randy Savage

Randy Savage scored a ton of wins over Warrior during their time at the WWE, but not a single one was a clean win. There was always some aspect of the match that led to a DQ or a win via count-out. The details for most of their early matches are scarce. One of the more well-known losses in their rivalry was his loss in a steel cage at Madison Square Garden in 1991.

Only 24 hours after Warrior defended the WWE Title against Sgt. Slaughter, he lost to Randy Savage in a Steel Cage match where Queen Sherri did everything she could to help Savage snag an unclean victory over Warrior.

5 The Nasty Boys

Nasty Boys WrestleMania 7

Although this is not a one-on-one loss, The Ultimate Warrior has so few losses on his resume that his one-tag team loss cannot be glazed over. The Nasty Boys (Brian Knobbs & Jerry Sags) not only beat Warrior and his tag team partner, Randy Savage, but they beat him at SummerSlam Spectacular in 1992.

The whole purpose of the match was to start the split-up and eventual feud between Warrior and Randy Savage. They bumped heads multiple times during the match, and it ended in a count-out victory for The Nasty Boys when Warrior chased Ric Flair forcing a count-out loss.

4 Sgt. Slaughter

Sgt Slaughter Wins The WWE Championship

Warrior suffered a rare televised title change loss to Sgt. Slaughter at the 1991 Royal Rumble. This also might be one of the most glorious losses in the Warrior's career. The two would clash many times in 1991 - Slaughter was usually victorious as the house shows would usually feature the same spots and victors week to week.

Still, the most notable loss, the one at the 1991 Rumble, featured a fierce back-and-forth battle between two stars. Slaughter needed to smack Warrior with a sceptre to secure the victory. Hogan would win the 91' Rumble setting up his WrestleMania showdown against Sgt. Slaughter.

3 Rick Rude

Rick Rude's time in the WWE is sometimes forgotten since the days in his prime were mostly untelevised. One of the biggest achievements of his career was his victory over Warrior at Wrestlemania 5.

Rude has a few victories over Warrior, but none of them compare to the insane finish that was their one and only Wrestlemania bout. Bobby Heenan being in Rude's corner helped him secure the victory. Rude became the Intercontinental Champion in this match marking Warrior's first loss in the WWE.

2 Ron Bass & The One Man Gang

This tag-team loss is one of the very few televised losses of Warrior's entire career. The loss happened via DQ. Junkyard Dog hit Bass with his collar and chain causing Warrior (and his partner Don Muraco) to lose via DQ on the 1988 episode of Prime Time Wrestling.

Warrior was very off his game in this tag match and overall, his showing in this bout was lackluster, to say the least. This match was also the last time Ron Bass and One Man Gang ever teamed up as a tag team in the WWE.

1 Honky Tonk Man

Although the Honky Tonk Man seems like a cartoonish gimmick that would fail in wrestling today, in his prime the Honky Tonk Man was very well received. He never achieved the same levels of success as Warrior but did secure a few victories. All of them were via count out since the two repeated the same match at house shows.

The most famous moment between the two was Warrior as Honky Tonk Man's surprise first opponent at the inaugural SummerSlam in 1988. The countout losses would be more memorable if they happened at a televised event since the loss occurred when Jimmy Hart climbed on the Warrior's back and forced a countout victory for his client, future Hall of Famer, Honky Tonk Man.
