The Slammy Awards are done and dusted for another year. If you missed them, here's a rundown of every single Superstar to win an award.
The Slammy Awards are an age-old tradition in WWE that dates back decades. Although saying that, WWE doesn't run them every single year. Even though they do tend to highlight the best of each particular category for which they are awarded, they're nothing more than a bit of fun. After a year like 2020, a bit of fun is exactly what most people need.
The awards were handed out earlier today, and R-Truth led the proceedings. Some of the awards will mean more than others, of course, and some Superstars will do more with their wins. Take Owen Hart, for example. He decided to carry his Slammy Awards to the ring with him while everyone else had likely forgotten the event had even happened 24 hours after leaving.

This time around, Drew McIntyre took home the big one. Superstar of the Year, and deservedly so. A two-time WWE Champion and WrestleMania headliner. He also won Male Superstar of the Year. It would have been odd if he hadn't. Sasha Banks was the winner of Female Superstars of the Year. That will have annoyed Bayley to no end who was likely a close second.
In the grand scheme of things, Bayley and Banks actually won the same number of awards this year. The Role Model was dubbed Social Media Star of the Year, and her turn on Banks won the award for Best Double Cross. We guess she has to share that one with The Boss, but can maybe claim full ownership since Bayley was the one doing the double-crossing.
