Jon Moxley is currently one of the biggest pro wrestlers in the world. While hardcore wrestling buffs may know him from his work in the independent circuit, Moxley mostly rose to fame in WWE as Dean Ambrose. He made his debut in the company as a member of The Shield alongside Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns and took the world by storm.

While the debate over whether he was more successful in WWE or outside may not have a definite answer, one thing consistent is that he has won a lot of titles wherever he went. The Lunatic Fringe is a WWE Grand Slam Champion and was the first from The Shield to earn this title. He has had a total of seven title reigns during his time with the WWE, where a few are certainly better than the others.
7 RAW Tag Team Champion (w/ Seth Rollins) - 2nd Reign - 14 Days
October 22, 2018 was an emotional night for The Shield as Roman Reigns announced that he had to relinquish his Universal Championship due to Leukemia. On the same night, Ambrose and Rollins challenged for the RAW Tag Team Championships and defeated Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre to win the same.

It was an emotional moment, but Ambrose had other plans. He attacked The Architect right after the match which was a shocking moment for fans who weren't expecting a betrayal, at least on the night Reigns announced his diagnosis. Hardly anyone remembers this title reign as it was just a part of a very bigger storyline.
6 RAW Tag Team Champion (w/ Seth Rollins) - 1st Reign - 79 Days
After being years apart, the cracks between The Shield were healing by the time 2017 rolled in. At the SummerSlam of that year, Ambrose and Rollins, the two guys who were out for each other's blood a few years back teamed up to challenge for the tag titles. They defeated The Bar (Cesaro and Sheamus) to kick off their title reign.
Many fans believed that the reign would last quite a considerable period of time as Rollins and Ambrose worked well together. However, this was not the case because they lost it in less than three months, and almost their entire title reign revolved around the feud against The Bar who eventually became the next champions.
5 Intercontinental Champion - 3rd Reign - 29 Days
A title reign does not need to last a very long time to be called great. The last time The Lunatic Fringe held a title in WWE was back in 2019, and it was the third time he won the Intercontinental Championship. The reign began on a high note with an instant classic against Seth Rollins at TLC 2018. It was a great addition to the great bunch of matches the two superstars have competed against each other.
The reign lasted less than a month, but there isn't much to complain about it. In just 29 days, Ambrose put his title on the line four times including great matches against Rollins, Apollo Crews, and Tyler Breeze. He eventually lost it to Bobby Lashley and soon left WWE.
4 Intercontinental Champion - 1st Reign - 64 Days
At Survivor Series 2015, Ambrose fell short of Roman Reigns in the tournament final for the WWE Championship. Fans cheered him and got behind him as he shifted his focus on the Intercontinental Championship. At TLC, Ambrose defeated Owens to win the title for the first time.
He held it for just a little over two months but defended it quite often, mostly against Kevin Owens. The two collided in a Last Man Standing match at Royal Rumble 2016 which is considered one of the best matches of the stipulation. He lost the belt to Owens in a Fatal-5-Way match.
3 United States Champion - 351 Days
This was Dean Ambrose's first title reign in WWE making him the first Shield member to win a singles championship. He defeated Kofi Kingston to kickstart a title reign no one knew would last as long as it did. Ambrose held the belt for a staggering 351 days, just two weeks less than a year.
If that doesn't sound astonishing, the reign is also the longest in the history of the title ever since WWE revived the United States Championship. While the title reign was long, it was largely overshadowed by the growing popularity of The Shield and their storylines relating to the Authority. Nonetheless, the reign has immortalized itself in history and will always be fondly remembered.
2 Intercontinental Champion - 2nd Reign - 152 Days
This one was a fun title reign. He defeated The Miz early in 2017 and went on to hold the belt for five months. While this may not be the best reign of the year, it certainly served its purpose and fans enjoyed The Lunatic Fringe doing what he does best. He was a pure treat during this title reign.

He eventually lost the title to The Miz, the same superstar who held it before Ambrose.
1 WWE Champion - 84 Days
The sole WWE Championship reign of Dean Ambrose is way underrated. While it may have not stood up to everyone's expectations, it was still a great title reign that doesn't deserve the hate it gets. It started on a very high note when Ambrose cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase on Rollins. All three members of The Shield had held the world title on that night.
All three Shield members then collided in their only Triple Threat Match which Ambrose won. The champion then took the belt to SmackDown where he had great feuds with Dolph Ziggler and AJ Styles. Add in James Ellsworth and you get a great title reign.
