Players can find six Christmas Trees for a special quest in Escape From Tarkov. In order to complete "To the Tree!" and claim the loot found at each Christmas Tree, players should try to find the event location as soon as they enter a map. Since loot is shared across the server, there is a chance that players won't find anything at a Christmas Tree, but they still need to visit each one for the quest.
As a hardcore FPS game, it can be hard to survive a raid for beginners in Escape From Tarkov, let alone find six Christmas Trees. Hunting for the trees is especially difficult because players don't have a traditional map or any marker showing them where to look. The only indication will be the constant gunfire near the trees from Scavs. Players can go toward the gunfire without being targeted unless they engage the Scavs first. Players that want to find the Christmas Trees can accept the "To the Tree!" quest from the Mechanic.
Players looking to complete the Christmas Tree quest will need to find all six at least once after receiving the mission from the Mechanic. Christmas Trees are only on six maps in Escape From Tarkov: Reserve, Woods, Interchange, Shoreline, Customs, and Lighthouse. Each map has the Christmas Tree in a unique location, and finding all six will give players some holiday-themed rewards.
Christmas Tree Locations and Rewards in Escape From Tarkov
For beginners in Escape From Tarkov, finding the trees can be very difficult if they are unfamiliar with the map layouts. Players should spend some time figuring out where everything is and how to navigate their surroundings on each map. It's also easier to search for the Christmas Trees when it's bright, so players should avoid setting the map to nighttime while completing the quest. The Christmas Trees can be found in the following locations:
- Reserve: In the southwestern region, there's a Christmas Tree along the dirt road near the E2 Bunker and the White Knight building.
- Woods: Near the Logging Camp, players can find a Christmas Tree floating on a platform just off the docks.
- Interchange: Players can find this Christmas Tree on the highway in a Scav Camp across from ULTRA Mall.
- Shoreline: The Shoreline Christmas Tree is in front of the Resort Admin building.
- Customs: Players can find this Christmas Tree in the courtyard at the center of the Dorm buildings in the northern region.
- Lighthouse: This Christmas Tree can be found in the southern area along the western shore near the Hideout building.
For completing the "To the Tree!" quest, players will receive Roubles, Experience, Mechanic Rep +0.01, and red, white, and violet Christmas Tree Ornaments. Once players finish the quest, they will be able to craft a Christmas Tree for their hideout. The tree requires five violet ornaments, 10 red ornaments, and 10 white ornaments as well as 10,000 Roubles. Additional ornaments can be found at the base of a Christmas Tree or randomly around the map. Players can find and visit six Christmas Trees for a variety of rewards and gear in Escape from Tarkov.
