Professional Background
I have focused a majority of my clinical practice on the reconstruction of breast cancer patients. I perform breast reconstruction either using implants or a patient's tissue (autologous breast reconstruction), breast reconstruction after lumpectomy, and breast revisions after reconstruction.
Since joining the department, I've continued to innovate by offering thigh flaps as an alternative source of flaps for autologous breast reconstruction. We see and treat those with a history of obesity or massive weight loss. As the only health system in the region routinely performing autologous breast reconstruction, we give patients a single stop for total breast cancer care.
