Patch 6.01 for Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker launches Pandaemonium: Asphodelos, its first raid tier, with the Savage difficulty and more lined up.
The launch of Patch 6.01 for Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker introduces its newest raid tier, Pandaemonium: Asphodelos. The Normal difficulty of the raid, which was released on December 21, will be followed up in two weeks on January 4, 2022, with the release of Patch 6.05. This will introduce the Savage difficulty of Asphodelos as the first high-end challenge for raiders in Endwalker.
With each expansion launch, FFXIV introduces a normal difficulty of a raid tier followed by the high-end Savage difficulty. The Normal difficulty introduces the story of Pandaemonium while the Savage difficulty following up in two weeks will provide a new challenge for hardcore raiders. Later with the launch of Patch 6.1, players will have the first in the new 24-man Alliance Raid series for FFXIV centered on Eorzea mythos: Myths of the Realm. At the same time Dragonsong War, the new Ultimate difficulty raid, will be available to those raiders that have cleared Pandaemonium: Asphodelos (Savage). This timeline of content in the coming weeks will provide raid content suited to all sides of the player base going into early 2022.
Despite FFXIV having login issues, the developers have maintained constant communication on resolving these issues and kept to their roadmap so far for upcoming content. With Endwalker and even the months leading up to it, the game has hit unprecedented popularity and the constant communication helps to reassure the community and excite them with all the upcoming content. For those looking to unlock the Pandaemonium raid in FFXIV: Endwalker, they'll first have to complete the MSQ and then the "Crystal From Beyond" quest, which can be accepted in Old Sharlyan.
How To Unlock The Pandaemonium Raid In Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker
Upon completing the Endwalker MSQ and the "Crystal From Beyond" quest, players will then go to Elpis for the quest “Where Familiars Die," granting them access to the FFXIV's Pandaemonium raid. Additionally, players will need to be item level 565 or higher to access the raid. When the Savage difficulty of Pandaemonium: Asphodelos, the item level will likely be higher. This is also merely the first part of the Pandaemonium raid series, which means future updates will bring players further in.
Alongside the slew of new raid content, there's plenty to do with the current seasonal Starlight Celebration event, available until December 31. That'll be followed by the Heavensturn New Year Event with the delayed All Saints' Wake Halloween event after in late January 2022. Another piece of content scheduled with the release of Patch 6.1 is Crystal Conflict, FFXIV's new PvP format. The developers should keep communicating new information on content like the Pandaemonium raids and events to the Final Fantasy XIV community, as there'll be plenty more to come going into 2022.
