Unquestionably, Edge's best work has been as a heel with many of his World Championship reigns coming as a heel, but he has had several memorable moments as a babyface.

Edge and Test had an underrated match at Survivor Series and Edge was the victor. With the victory, the United States Championship was retired until it was revived in the summer of 2003 on the SmackDown brand.

It was abundantly clear that Edge was going to become a singles star as he received a push in the summer of 2001. Edge advanced to the semifinals of the King of the Ring tournament and he battled past Rhyno to book his spot in the final.

Edge clashed with his former Team ECK stablemate Kurt Angle in the final who was bidding for his second straight King of the Ring crown. With outside interference from Shane McMahon, Edge capitalized to beat the Olympic Gold Medalist to become the final King of the Ring winner under the WWF banner.

Edge and his real-life best friend Christian won the WWE World Tag Team Championship seven times and they are one of the all-time great tag team duos to grace a WWE ring.

Edge's exploits of Tag Team Championship reigns didn't end there as he won seven more Tag Team Championships with the likes of Hulk Hogan, Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton, and Chris Jericho. Nevertheless, Edge can thank his successful tag team career which catapulted him to greater things as a main eventer.

3 WrestleMania Main Eventer

A select few wrestlers get to headline WrestleMania throughout their careers, and Edge is on the list of wrestlers who has managed to go on last at WrestleMania. The WWE Hall of Famer is a two-time WrestleMania main eventer but he was on the losing end both times.

He lost to The Undertaker in his World Heavyweight Championship title defense at WrestleMania 24. 13 years later, Edge headlined WrestleMania again in a triple threat match for the Universal Championship against Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan with the Tribal Chief running out as the winner.

2 Two-Time Royal Rumble Match Winner

Every wrestler who enters the Royal Rumble match has the aspirations of headlining WrestleMania and challenging for a World Championship. The Rated-R Superstar has entered several Royal Rumble matches and he has won the whole thing twice.

Edge returned ahead of schedule from his Achilles injury by winning the 2010 Royal Rumble match by lasting eliminating his former rival John Cena. However, his victory in 2021 was sweeter as it was 11 years to the day from his 2010 triumph, and he ran the gauntlet from the unenviable number one position, and he saw off his former tag team partner Randy Orton to see the job through. Unfortunately for Edge, he was unable to convert his Rumble wins into World Championship reigns with losses to Chris Jericho at WrestleMania 26 and to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 37.

1 11-Time World Champion

Once Edge captured his first World Championship in 2006, the Rated-R Superstar began to rack up multiple World Championship reigns. No man in WWE history held the World Heavyweight Championship more times than Edge as he held the title a record seven times. He's also won the WWE Championship four times.

Edge's longest World Championship reign was three months from Armageddon 2007 to WrestleMania 24. That's surprising but it's a big deal when someone dethrones Edge for the title. The Rated-R Superstar saw off the likes of John Cena, The Undertaker, and Triple H among others for his World Championship reigns. It remains to be seen if Edge will get a dozen World Championship reigns but 11 World Title reigns isn't a feat to be laughed at.
