For managing the capacity of a virtualized system running inside an individual VM, you need the inside view of the performance of a VM. Such VM systems where data is collected from inside the OS are called Virtual Nodes. Virtual Node contains additional metrics that are useful for more detailed analysis of the capacity and performance of the VM.
