Drew McIntyre happens to be a big fan of the show Baron Corbin and Riddick Moss have been putting on ever since they became Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss.

The happy-go-lucky characters’ gimmick is basically one that has them tell bad jokes then burst into fits of laughter. They’re involved in a bit of a feud with Drew, the result of their stealing the Scottish Warrior’s sword.

McIntyre has since retrieved the sword but is now set to face Corbin and Moss at WWE’s Day 1 on January 1, 2022. As it turns out, McIntyre’s pretty amused by the duo.

“I’m excited that he [Madcap Moss] has been given the opportunity now on the big stage to do something, and he’s 100 percent committed to the part," he told Rick Ucchino of Sportskeeda. "Himself and Corbin are fully invested in the characters – that’s why it works. The jokes are terrible, but their reactions to the jokes are hilarious. It’s so over the top, I love it.”

Incredible Athletes

Drew has also been impressed by Corbin and McIntyre’s athletic ability. Both wrestlers have backgrounds in football and, while fans are well aware of Corbin’s, Moss’s background isn’t as widely known. He has made quite an impression, though, collecting numerous wins in the annual WWE Performance Center Combine.

“They’re both such incredible high-level athletes," McIntyre added. "People kind of know about Corbin’s background, know what he’s capable of, but they don’t know much about Madcap, unless you follow NXT and the NXT Combine. When they had those events, he was the best athlete. He crushed everybody every time.”

Moss was beaten along with The Usos on last Friday’s SmackDown, with McIntyre teaming up with King Woods and Kofi Kingston. The match ended with The Scottish Warrior pouring eggnog over Corbin and Moss at ringside and later hitting Moss with a Claymore that led to a pin.
