In an episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey in November 2019, Teresa and her castmates Jackie Goldschneider, Melissa Gorga, Jennifer Ayden, and Margaret Josephs talked about gender disappointment. Many of them tried for more children after only having one gender.
Teresa admitted she desperately wanted to have a son as her fourth child. The reality star and her husband, Joe, went through the process of in vitro fertilization in an attempt to have a baby boy. "They put three embryos in me, and I didn't even get pregnant," she told her castmates (via Bravo's The Daily Dish). "So, we were like, let's just do it the natural way, and we did, and it was Audriana, another girl!" the RHONJ star said. "So, we weren't meant to have a boy." In a clip of the Bravo series from September 2009, Teresa told cameras, "My husband knows that all he makes is girls, and he's happy making his girls."
The reality star may have only had girls with Joe, but it's very clear she's willing to give having a son another try with a different partner.
