7 The Alliance Vs Team WWE (Invasion 2001): 6.95

The Undertaker Vs Diamond Dallas Page

Only one WWE match from Diamond Dallas Page made the list of his better rated in-ring bouts. Page barely got a fair chance in the booking, but he did start off with a bigger role. Few noteworthy stars from WCW joined WWE for the Invasion storyline, so DDP had greater importance.

The first Invasion PPV in 2001 saw Page teaming with Booker T, Rhyno and the Dudley Boyz against Steve Austin, Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho, The Undertaker and Kane. Austin turning heel ended the match in shocking fashion, but it provided enough overall entertainment to get a 6.95 rating on Cagematch.

1 Diamond Dallas Page Vs Sting (Nitro: April 26, 1999): 8.33

Sting Vs Diamond Dallas Page

The best match from Diamond Dallas Page actually came on Nitro rather than a PPV. Page winning the WCW Championship for the first time in 1999 saw WCW pulling a generally foolish move of turning him heel. The title reign ended in a tremendous match against Sting on the free show.

Cagematch rated the match an outstanding 8.33 as the best of DDP’s career. WCW changed the title back later that night with Page beating Sting, but the first match was clearly better. The only shame is that WCW didn’t benefit from having this main event a PPV.
