The former lightweight undisputed champion appears to have bulked up in new photos in which he flexes his shredded physique. At 135 pounds, Haney was open about his struggles making the weight class.

Devin Haney Shows Off His New Physique With A Message
Despite Moving Up To 140 Pounds, Haney Said The Weight Cut Is Not Easy
The Dream said two photos on his social media in which he appears in sensational shape ahead of his title fight this weekend. In the caption, Haney added, “The Challenger soon to be Champion InshaAllah.. 4 days.”
Transitioning to the 140-pound weight class offers Haney a more comfortable fighting environment, but he anticipates challenges when it comes to the weigh-in process.
Expressing his satisfaction with the move, Haney remarked to reporters last month, "It feels good. I've been eating a lot more. 135 was hard for me to make, but 140 won’t be easy either." Despite the shift to a higher weight class, Haney emphasized the ongoing difficulty of making weight, explaining, "I’m a big guy, I’m getting bigger, my body is maturing, my muscles are filling out. Even though I’m moving up in weight, it still won’t be easy for me making weight."

The Dream Says It’s All About Money
Despite securing a unanimous victory from all three judges, the decision in the bout stirred controversy in the sport, as many felt that Lomachenko should have been the winner. Talks of a rematch have been ongoing, and Haney recently updated on the situation.
In an interview with Ring Magazine, Haney explained, "I had discussions with my dad and Top Rank about the potential rematch – how it would be structured and the financials. However, as I mentioned, the details didn't make sense. It didn't add up."
While acknowledging the potential significance of a rematch, Haney noted that the controversy in the first fight would make more fanfare; however, this wasn’t reflected in the financial offer he received.
