The NXT brand is once again undergoing quite the shake-up, and it took a big step on that journey tonight at Worlds Collide. By the time you read this, NXT UK will be no more. All of its titles will have been unified with their NXT counterparts and the British brand has been shut down in preparation for the launch of NXT Europe. Worlds Collides has crowned unified champions across both brands, and we have broken down every single one of those matches. Whether they were winners or losers, all can be found below if you missed the show or if you want to run down and relive everything you saw on Sunday evening on the WWE Network.RELATED: Triple H Comments On Whether He Was Punished For AEW Beating NXT
Winner: Carmelo Hayes Picks Up His Biggest Win Yet
No brand knows how to open a show with a killer match better than NXT. World's Collide's opener was Carmelo Hayes vs. Ricochet for the North American Title, and it was everything fans of the two would have wanted it to be. Two athletes at the top of their game doing things human beings really shouldn't be capable of doing. It was actually rather amusing that after both men performed numerous incredible feats, Hayes wound up winning the match with a rollup. The future is very bright for this man, and his reign continues.
Loser: Pretty Deadly Are The Unified Tag Team Champions
The first unification of the night went to the Tag Team Titles. Four duos in an elimination match, and NXT UK Champs Brooks and Jensen were the first to go. Gallus followed, and eventually Pretty Deadly pinned The Creeds to unify the titles. A somewhat surprising way to go, and not necessarily for the right reasons. Everything about this match and the build to it has felt thrown together, and the winners make it feel a little like the division won't necessarily find the direction it needs following the unification.
Winner: Mandy Rose Continues Her Historic Run
Considering the three women and their opposing styles in this one, it really shouldn't have worked. The thing is, it did. Those styles clashing made for a great match, and one fitting of the NXT and NXT UK Women's Titles being unified. Some fans might have rolled their eyes at Mandy Rose winning this one, but it was the most logical outcome. Rose is on a hell of a run right now. She has improved in every way under the NXT banner, and it's great that her run will continue beyond Worlds Collide.
Loser: Katana Chance And Kayden Carter Retain Their Titles
It might be a little harsh to put this match in the loser column as in a vacuum, it was everything it needed to be. The champs looking strong against main roster visitors, and Toxic Attraction getting involved to set up what will likely be the next title match. However, at this point in the night, it felt like the show needed a shock. Doudrop and Nikki ASH winning this match would have fit the bill, even if it was just for a few weeks so Chance and Carter could have chased them and won the titles back. A victim of its placement on the card more than anything else.
Winner: Bron Breakker Unifies The NXT And NXT UK Titles
Despite the very short amount of time Bron Breakker and Tyler Bate had to build to such a historically significant match, and again the clash of styles, this was a pretty great match. A match that included a couple of moments where it seemed as if Bate might pull off a shock win. Even though Breakker won, Bate by no means looked weak. Hopefully he'll be sticking around in NXT. Worlds Collide was a welcome reminder to those who didn't watch NXT UK of how good he is, and how many new matches await from across all WWE's brands. The same goes for Breakker too.
