Brock Lesnar won the second Royal Rumble match of his career on Saturday, having last eliminated Drew McIntyre to book a ticket to WrestleMania 38.

Earlier on in the show, Lesnar lost the WWE Championship to Bobby Lashley thanks to interference from Roman Reigns. Presumably, The Beast Incarnate will challenge Reigns for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 38 weekend, which will take place on Apr. 2-3 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

As noted by Abhilash Mendhe by Sportskeeda Wrestling, Lesnar was in the Royal Rumble match for just two minutes and 30 seconds. This is officially the shortest time ever for a Royal Rumble match winner. Lesnar was the No. 30 entry in the Royal Rumble match. He eliminated Randy Orton, Bad Bunny, Riddle, Shane McMahon and McIntyre en route to winning his first Royal Rumble since 2003.

During the WWE Championship match against Lashley, the referee was accidentally knocked out. Reigns showed up and hit Lesnar with a spear. Heyman then handed Reigns the WWE Championship belt, and The Tribal Chief proceeded to hit the Lesnar in the face with it. A second referee rushed out to the ring, and Lashley pinned Lesnar to win the title.

Assuming Lesnar and Reigns face off at WrestleMania 38, this would mark their third meeting on The Grandest Stage of Them All. The two first met at WrestleMania 31, where Seth Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank contract to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. They met again at WrestleMania 34 three years later for the Universal Championship, which Lesnar won to retain the title.
